I must say I am pretty excited. The new crowd reactions look promising.
I can't wait to see hopefully guys like New Age Outlaws, Gangrel, Nation of Domination... though I suspect without D-Lo Brown(thank you CAW though!), Attitude era Undertaker, hopefully guys like Ken Shamrock(doubtful), Lita, Trish, Sable, X-Pac, Hurricane, Molly Holly, Hardcore and Crash Holly...
Probably something of a wish list, so WWE 13 has BEST have a properly working online CAW upload/download system and people BETTER let me edit their shit! What's the point of not letting me edit movesets that give people like Billy Gunn a DDT for a finisher?... etc And sometimes I want to tweak a hairstyle choice or attire color... LET ME DO THAT WITH ALL CAW's!!!
And for the love of god, let me fully edit an existing WWE Superstar's attire! If I want Austin to wear track pants or Mankind to wear facepaint or Undertaker to wear Kane's attitude era body suit.. LET ME DO IT!!!
More importantly, let ME decide which outfit is DEFAULT for all matches, I don't want certain attires by default and have to change them each and every time in Universe Mode!
Also, give me a better choice for announceable names! WWE owns the rights to all sorts of groups, why couldn't I set a tag team to be called DX or the New Age Outlaws in WWE 12? Even if the groups are long gone, it would be nice to hear the announcer say The Four Horsemen, Money Inc, The Corporate Ministry, X Factor, The Radicalz, The Oddities... or let me combine/change existing ones in some way to get things like "The NEW Four Horsemen", the "NEW DX" or "Degeneration Next" Give us words we can use and put together like that! The NEW Radicalz, "DX Black & White", "DX Green", "The Corporate Degenerates", "The Degenerates", "The DX World Order", "The Corporate Radicalz", the ideas go on and on for tag team/stable call names!
Hell, I'd pay $1.99 for an updated list of 300 call names I can download and add to my game! Provided they weren't crap like "The Pineapples", "The Group", "El Jefe", "Mr Amazing"... let us piece together non WWE names for during entrance announcing as well as commentary! They KNOW we are gonna make TNA and former WWE people, so let us have their names! Jeff is generic enough and the pissed people off by just allowing JEFFERY or Geoffrey, well last names like Hardy, Anderson, Kennedy... those are all generic enough and if it is a legal issue then I think the way they keep first and last names separate is a good way around it.
Give us a syllable editor where we can add say, H-are-dee, or something to that affect. I hate how every CAW is practically called, THE SUPERSTAR! Ugh, kill me.
Um, and let us ALWAYS pick a table from under the ring, I don't always want a chair or sledgehammer. Let me be able to grab a ringbell in a title match, not just my title. If there's more than one title at ringside, let them ALL be there on a table by the bell. If I have 3+titles, let me wear them ALL to the ring and decide which ones are worn where! ie: left shoulder, right shoulder, waist, Euro-Continental style on the waist, around my neck, hanging from front of my pants, on my outstretched arms Ultimo Dragon style(I think that was him). Let me pick!
Also, let ALL superstars be useable and trackable in WWE Universe mode, or removed from it. Don't force me to let some people be there.
Also, Let me decide which belts are defended on which shows or if any individual belt is defended on any show. If I want ONE World title for the combined roster, don't force me to have two. If I want just ONE set of Tag Titles, let me have them and let me decide which belts they look like!
Let me keep whatever titles I want active or vacant in UNIVERSE!
I hated giving all my titles to Michael Cole that I didn't want on other guys and hope he didn't lose the belts to someone.
Let ME edit the #1 contenders, or at least the #2+ contenders... sometimes my fave teams are NEVER near the top!
Also, give us editable TITLE HISTORIES! If I want to keep track of real or CAW wrestlers and what belts they've held, let me do that! Let me edit the count for their times held, also give me a list of former title holders, at least the last 50 would suffice, including dates they were won /lost/vacated/etc and who against/by.
THAT would make Universe more worthwhile, in my opinion!

People I never played as, almost never if any at all, were... Otunga, Husky, Kidd, Natalya... hell all the divas really, Morrison, Mysterio, Kozlov, Santino, Chavo, McIntyre, Sin Cara, Alicia Fox, unmasked Kane, Mason Ryan, McGillicutty, & Cena.
I played the hell out of Miz, Punk, Christian, Edge, starting to play a lot with Daniel Bryan now, Ziggler, Ryder, Alex Riley, DiBiase JR, Masked Kane, Undertaker, Goldust, Booker T and The Rock(I absolutely HATE how he looks bald in the game, it's a TERRIBLE character model they used! He needed facial hair if bald or a few choices for his look altogether.. ah well maybe in WWE 13!)
Let us use any character in ANY match. Diva-Ladder Matches, Hell in a Cells, Table Matches, etc. And give use proper mixed tags that don't end on DQ's all the time!!! Let me have Divas wrestle men! Lita vs Christian, Kharma vs Big Show, Eve vs Kane! It's fantasy, and let them bleed too! Make it a setting or something where we can keep it pg or have it not-pg, kinda like WWF Attitude did on N-64 with the entrance themes!
Honestly, the 360 version should just have Kinect voice recording that allows you to record your own CAW introductions.
That's the first practical use for Kinect I've ever heard.
I gotta admit, the video sold it to me. I think I'll be getting this for sure, even though I got '12 not 7 months ago. I still dont understand how Universe works, but hopefully I can figure it out by October.
I hope Road to WM is better. I enjoyed it up until the CAW story, because they didn't let me customize fucking anything. I was really looking forward to seeing my self debut in WWE, I made a sick entrance, great move-set, custom music body shape etc etc. and then they take that ALLLL away. It was really shitty so I just didn't do it. I don't wanna be called "Jacob Cass".... dumb.
Also (just as a kid who is going to college to become an Audio Engineer) please have some default reverberation put intpo the custom music. I am grateful that I can upload my own music to be my music, but it's totally jarring that my music is completely direct, while all the other wrestlers actually have music that fits the arena. Just a thought.
Create an Arena could be better, just for the fact that all you could do was make the ring. The rest of the arena was unchangeable, which sucked because I was really looking forward to making a sick set.

I would love for them to make a separate engine for Wrestlemania Entrances. It's disappointing every time you book a match at Wrestlemania and it has a tiny little ramp and a tiny little stage. I wish they would just have the huuuuge stage and the huuuge ramp. Entrances are such a big part of wrestlers in WWE (like it or not, IWC =p) and it's important to me. WM is the grandest stage of em all...it should look grand!
Wrestlers should have a few different entrances: 1) Basic entrance 2) Basic entrance w/ belt 3)Wrestlemania entrance 4)Wrestlemania entrance with belt 5 6 7) All the tag team variants.
With this system, you could design your WM entrance, and all other entrances to be as epic as they are in real life. I would go nuts if they did that.

I guess theres a lot of things that would make the perfect WWE game, but it wont all, or even most, happen. We'll get a few new things, and a whole mess of new problems - thats just how it goes.

Add these to my dream roster if I left them out, the APA. I want Bradshaw and JBL as separate characters which can be added or removed from Universe mode depending on which you prefer, none of this unable to be used/tracked crap! ...OR, better yet, let ME choose which attire/gimmick is their default and let me change it at will whenever I deem fit! This would be great for Foley or guys with distinctly different alternate appearances/attires like Taker, Kane, The Rock, etc...
It'll be cool to see how many attitude era divas they add.

Stephanie would be the only one that would make it. Sable is a long shot. They've already been reluctant about adding females to the game, so I doubt they will put in any others besides Lita, Trish, and Stephanie.

Give us the option of having ONE briefcase on the MitB PPV or TWO, depending on what we prefer. Also, let me PLAY the match that takes place before a cash-in! Don't just simulate me a winner! Also, let me book a cash-in RVD or Cena style! Hell, let me cah-in, mid match!
Also let me have the option of turning on my tag team partner mid-match, this could be a pause menu option or else could be triggered by blocking when partner is trying to tag or by walking up the ramp and through the curtain. To confirm the action maybe you press run and raunt(two buttons you'd never push together otherwise)
