Scott Steiner is actually lucid. The only thing I'm really sick of is you being the wrestling equivalent of a hipster. But hey, keep on truckin'.
Seems like the people who like wrestlers ironically would be closer to hipsters.
Not taking a side, but liking things ironically is sort of a hipster trait.
You're right. But here, it Henrik here has decided to make it seem like the norm. And presents his viewpoint as if it were radical and almost pretentious in a way. "Detriment to the concept of wrestling?" C'mon, man. It's wrestling. Fuck that noise.
Todd Manning is disgusted at your seriousness on the internet.
I never understood the point of "liking" something ironically. If you don't legitimately like something, then you don't like it.
And with that being said, if you like something in any way technicially it is still liking it. If you like Iron Shiek because his rants are insane... you like Iron Sheik because his rants are insane.
That aside, Naim vs. SilentStranger has the making for a full blown slobberknocker.

Oh yeeyah, Skywalker; DIG IT! Proud owner of one Internet. Thanks Mr. Spicer!

It's based in kitsch and camp value.
I get that, but to me that isn't liking something ironically, that's...liking something.
To me, liking something ironically sounds like, "I don't actually like this, but something about it would make it funny/interesting/whatever if I did, so I'll claim/pretend I do."
Like the much maligned hipsters, who spend a ton of money on their clothes and even their smokes, and then buy PBR, a cheap beer that is mostly looked down upon by people who give a shit about such things.

As a bit of a proto hipster, I can tell you I don't drink PBR and smoke American Spirit ironically. I actually prefer them.
If you don't get ironically liking something, I don't understand how you're a Craphole member. I mean, no one actually LIKES the Gobbeldygooker here, do they?

That's a really big generalization to make. Seems like a stereotype for a culture that barely even exists.
Also, supposedly along with irony hipsters look down on mainstream things. Which is the point I think Naim is trying to make.
I'm a loser and my sig takes up half the damn page. Learn from my mistakes and don't be like me.

I can laugh about stuff like the Gooker. That doesn't mean I like it. I was watching live on PPV when that shit happened, and even as an 8 year old, I thought it was dumb. As I got older, I could laugh at how stupid it was, but that doesn't mean I thought it was good or liked it in any way. It still sucks just as much as it did in 1990.

With all the amazing beers out there, I don't get people that actually enjoy PBR over other things. I'm not a beer snob by any means, but fuckin' a, is PBR bad. I generally prefer Sam Adams myself.
The awkward moment you realize MMA just isn't for you.

I agree with the OP. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a funny botch, a crazy promo but they're cock-ups, you're laughing with retrospect. Certainly no interest in encouraging more in the future. Wrestling is a fast and strange business they'll be plenty to come.

American Spirits are cigarettes for people who dont know what they are doing, PBR is not the worst beer(Keystone/Natural Light) but its pretty bad, and Sheik, Warrior, Steiner et.c are hilarious but ultimately make wrestling look bad.
One day I had it all, the next day I didn't. Please be smarter than me and don't find yourself in this same situation. Actually be a proper human being for once!

When I use to smoke it was either Camel non filters,Camel Wides,or American Spirit. Most of the time it was one of the two Camel types. But sometimes I would be out of cigs and the place I stopped at didn't carry Camels. What I never figured out is why the non filters always cost more than the wides.

I've always told my friends that PBR is the best cheap beer. Whenever I'm already drunk and I'm not drinking for the taste anymore, I usually choose PBR.
I personally don't like American Spirits. I smoke Marlboro Smooths because they're delicious and taste like Thin Mints.
And Scott Steiner is fucking hilarious and I'll probably be quoting him with my friends until the day I die.

Heidenreich and Snitsky were liked ironically. But they were just so hilarious. No matter how much they sucked in the ring, they were just hilarious out of it.
ALSO
Honestly i've always been a Steiner Brother fan, Scotty and Rick were so awesome in WCW and WWE.
Loved Scotty's transformation into the genetic freak
