Yeah, he was a jobber in 88 till that Malaria really sidelined him. Luckily he overcame it and got his second run in the company.

Then he promptly went to South Africa caught an illness and recovered. 10 years later, he remember he was friends with Bret Hart and he was back.

But according to Old Man Bruno, Vince planted that fan. That was his intention. He started off as a fan who jumped the rail and started kicking ass during a gang attack by Furnas, Lafon and Jim Neidhart. Vader pulled him off trying to restrain him, but was smothering him to the point where Blackman goes "Will you fucking get off of me?!" which was pretty funny to me. |

I didn't mean Blackman in 97, I meant the heckler from the 80's. I don't believe it, mainly since I can't imagine David was getting paid an asston to begin with. There was also heat over David being undercard solo, then teaming with Bruno for MEs, then back to undercard when he was solo. Which makes perfect booking sense since people would pay to see Bruno, even past his prime. David was 5'8" and not a draw. That heat apparently spilled over to David's relationship with Bruno, which is sad. |
