No, it hasn't been confirmed; that's just the title I presume it to have. That's what they seem to be leading towards, anyway. What wi--aw, man, I'm gonna have to break the flow. What with Arkham City ending without conclusions for Azrael (and the Order of St. Dumas), Hush, or Scarecrow. What else can we expect from the inevitable third game? |

We can certainly expect more Azreal and Scarecrow. Hush should make it, but I suspect they might make him DLC this time around, unless they go with the fan theory that Hush and Scarecrow are working together (there doesn't seem to be much basis for that beyond some roaches in Hush's lair and canisters that may or may not be fear toxin).
Joker will clearly be back from what I've heard of the comic plot. If that carries over, then we'll be getting Two-Face too.
I hope they go with the game characters' idea for a name: "Big-Ass Arkham World"

I'm sure Azrael, Hush, and Scarecow are definites for the third game and since Ra's Al-Ghul's body disappears again at the end of AC, I'm expecting him to return. Croc has a small cameo at one point in the game so I'm sure he'll pop back up, Calendar Man escapes from his cell if you do the holiday achievement so the same goes for him, and it looked to me like Clayface oozed into one of the Lazarus Pits so he's pobably not dead either. I'd also fully expect Riddler, Two-Face, Penguin, Black Mask, Bane, Mad Hatter, Poison Ivy, Deadshot, Zsasz, and the Ambrovici Twins to return. I haven't played it yet but I thought I read somewhere that the Harley Quinn's Revenge DLC pretty much confirms that Joker is dead and done for good. Something about his body being cremated or something? |

Keep the current formula and I am cool with anybody. Tone down the customization a bit though.

I thought they announced they were doing a prequel game instead? (Blame that on WB overlords for promoting, setting up those DC movie reboots as part of the Justice League plan which I have zero confidence in them pulling off.)
I really wanted that AC sequel with conclusion to those teasers.
