I just wanted to take the opportunity to post a picture of some of the old wrestling magazines that I have lying around. Of note is the feud between Nikita Koloff and Magnum T.A. Magnum T.A was really popular then but his career was tragically cut short. We can clearly see that there's continuity except that Nikita went from a bona-fide heel on the '86 cover to a face sympathetic to Magnum's plight on the '87 cover. What say you? I love reading old wrestling magazines. Who else does?

I got rid of most of the ones that I had from the early 00s. Wish I hadn't but there may be a few still left lying around. I know that I had the first RAW magazine, WOW and even the ECW magazine that was around briefly.

Before he got too sick, my grandfather gave me about 30 issues of PWI from the mid to late 70s. Great reads. They taught me a lot about the territories and the resurgence of womens' wrestling.

One of the magazines I have has a comparison spread of several (then) up and comers, such as Crusher Yurkov (Bam Bam Bigelow), Scott Hall, etc. It's a bit depressing because I think Scott Hall is the only one of those still alive.

I have been slowly selling them on eBay. I have also been buying them and turning them over for a decent profit.

I have tons of them from the mid 80s all the way to the early 00s. I have to sell those. They are just in boxes under the stairs. I also have all the WWF magazines from 1985 to late 2000s.

I had pretty much everyone of the Apter mags from 83 till 92ish. But in 97 sold the lot to a friend who quickly resold them for a decent profit.

I outgrew the Apter mags myself when I found out about this site and other sites like it. Still, the older issues are a reminder of a time long gone.
If I had more time, I'd do a blog where I take excerpts from old issues and examine the facts. Has anyone done anything of the sort yet?

I USED to have a WWF program from 1986 with Roddy Piper on the front, as well as the old WWF Magazine from when Wrestlemania 2 was about to happen with Bundy and Hogan on the cover. Those are the 2 I prob miss the most

I have a big box of magazines from about 1996-2003. They range from WWF, Raw, PWI, The Wrestler, and Inside Wrestling. I recently looked through some of them and just realized how much fun I used to have and how big of a fan I was. It seems like do long ago.
