Think about it for a minute.
South Africa practiced apartheid for many, many years. Col.DeBeers was a South African colonel that would often refuse to wrestle African American wrestlers and he would also say demeaning things about other minorities in the ring.
Now, we have Zeb Colter, a breed of tea party American that occasionally (not always, as not to offend our conservative posters) borders on racist. I don't think the Zeb character is racist but he certainly has the same potential as Col.DeBeers to incite another segment of the population. Instead of minorities, this time it's liberals/progressives.
I thought about this after reading the latest article by Justin Henry on the website.
I've also changed my mind on Fandango as a result. At first, I hated Goldust for similar reasons but when he started teaming up with Booker T, I changed my mind and became a Goldust supporter. I can see Fandango having the same effect as long as Johnny Curtis continues to put 110% into it.
