I should note that McQueary contradicted the testimony from the Grand Jury report. The actual e-mail: "I never should of showered with those boy"; I was waiting on Costas to yell "YA THINK SO???!!!" The guy looks like a real greaseball and he totally buried himself in that interview. Maybe he will do another interview and say he was impacted by pedophilia. Re-watching that train wreck, what unnerves me too was him bringing up on his own the comment that he touched kids' thighs but never had a "sexual thought." Thanks dude for creeping me out. |

I don't know how many times it needs to be said, but the police did know and they let it slide. They knew he was showering with boys in 1998 and he admitted to as much. McQueary's witnessing didn't occur until 2002. The police and child welfare should've pushed harder from the getgo. It should've been blatantly obvious what he was doing at that point. |

I'm not saying JoePa isn't to blame in some fashion. I just think it's far, far smaller than that of the police and the president of the school. I also don't think JoePa was nearly as untouchable as people think. Not in '98. Definitly not in '02. Joe Paterno has suffered complications from his lung cancer procedures. He has been hospitalized since January 13. One source is stating that friends and family have gathered to him to pay final respects.

As of now, he is not dead--a number of sources have stated that he is, but his family and representatives have released a statement that say the contrary. Until they confirm, it's assumed that he is still in "serious condition".
