I probably should have posted this about a week ago, but I forgot. But the Honkytonk Mail Man has lasted (and managed to survive from his inevitable death sentence) as WCR's TNA correspondent for a year since January 28 2011.
Does this mean the TNA Correspondent curse is over?
On another note: If he lives until April 26 2012, he will match HTM's Intercontinental Title reign (of 454 days).

But really should the amount of days count? Or should actual appearances on the show count? Cause HTMM has appeared what 6 times total in over a year.
The thing many people don't really realize about the role (and I'm not knocking people's intelligence for this so don't take this as a slight against you, it's really rather subtle) is that the TNA corresponding role is, well, a joke at best. Both for appearing on a radio progrem that's not about wrestling most of the time and also especially in the sense that the Co-Fruitcakes NEVER take TNA seriously that much of the time. (I can't say I blame them.) Thus we have this 'role', both to acknowledge that TNA exists, and also to acknowledge that it doesn't have much going for it compared to WWE. One correspondent made bad jokes about Pontiac ads featuring Patrick Stewart, another made bad puns, another didn't even show up at all. You're not really getting much from them there. Thus we have these strange 'records' about them. Now I feel weird trying to explain something behind the scenes of the radio progrem. The things I've seen...

"Premier Blah once punched me in the face...it was awesome!"

To expand on that, it's more of a joke about the Honkytonk Mailman getting the TNA correspondent job about January last year and he still hasn't died yet. Unlike most of his predecessors who met their unfortunate demise more quickly (although appearing more often).
But I wonder how he manages to last this long though? Is it the fact that he avoids being on Wrestlecrap Radio very often? Maybe it's because he doesn't deliver the Ratings Reaper's mail promptly, thus he cannot be killed if the reaper doesn't receive his order in the mail to take his life? Or maybe, HTMM is actually dead but RD & Blade pretend to keep him alive like in the movie "Weekend at Bernie's"?
