The only bad matches were matches where HBK's opponents did not perform at his expectations.

Oh yeah, I remember he had some awful matches with Ken Kennedy (Anderson) It was so funny their matches. It's like Shawn feared facing him because Kennedy did all these stupid whacky things and dead weighted him a few times.

I can't think of any. I can think of matches that were less than I thought the would be and I were disappointed in them. (vs Hart at WM XII) but I would never call them bad.

His match with Hogan at Summerslam 2005. that was hilarious Now I think it was hilarious but back then as a 10 year old kid being so hyped for that match and driving like three hours to go see it and then it ends up HBK overselling the whole thing. I was so pissed that night. Now 7 years later I just laugh at it but it's still a horrible match.

I missed it live cause I was working at an indy show that morning and it was a long drive home but I got home and watched the tape and laughed my ass off.

There may be an age component here because as a 25 year old who remembered being a 10 year old watching the heels doing the over the top selling for Hogan I thought it was a lot of fun.

Just on the principles of the issue, and because the WWE has been swinging from two particular Shawn Michaels matches pubes for the past 12 years minimum, I would vote for the Iron Man Match and the 95 Rumble. Already overated as hell, and the WWE constantly using them to plug Shawns legacy and the Rumble legacy wears real thin. For me alot of the time the hyped up stuff works like reverse psychology and I start to dislike certain matches with every reminisce the same way people slobber over certain movies and the attitude of "you gotta love this movie!" No I don't The rumble match barely cracked 2 stars out of 5 with me and because of politics, the Iron Man match was neutered from a 5 star easy drama story book ending, to a 3 1/2 star stalemate with a questionable finish.

I never cared for the Iron Man. It was slow as hell to start, HBK working Bret's arm went nowhere whatsoever and then paired with going 0-0 just made a lot of the bigger bumps and spots pretty pointless, imo. I hate rating matches, but I'd give it a **1/2 or a C. I also didn't care for the idea of the overtime, especially in WWF's first one.
I also didn't care for Tatanka/HBK. Even outside of the shit finish, I just didn't think it was anything beyond average fare. Granted, that whole show was pretty crappy, but I don't even buy into it being the best match of the card. The Steiners vs. Headshrinkers was easily MOTN.

The Iron Man isn't bad imo but it's highly over rated. Really WWE has promoted because it was Bret vs Shawn and because of what happened in Montreal as "the Iron Man match" . The HHH vs Rock Iron Man match from Judgement Day 2000 is about 100x better. With that match you had both Rock and HHH winning their first falls with their finishers and then coming up with interesting ways to win the rest of the falls. It made it far more interesting than WM XII match where neither guy was willing to job any more than necessary.

Plus at the end of the night he needed backfired interference by The Kid and British Bulldog to lay down for the count
