I agree. I've been watching Raven matches all day today while writing the reviews for the top 21 and he is just so out of place. Reese is kinda out of place too. |

Scotty Riggs.
Remember the angle. Raven busts up Riggs eye, calls Riggs the biggest loser and he never will win a match and to join the flock and he will win. Riggs continues to never win a match.

I would have liked to see the Flock in the WWF.
Based on the SmackDown! game with the roster that included the following, I made the Flock:
Raven
Jerry Lynn
Saturn
Matt Hardy
I had Raven as IC champion/WWE title contender, Saturn as Euro champ (chasing IC when Raven chased WWE title), and Lynn & Hardy as a tag team that also went after the LH title.

If a Raven's Floc/Nest type of deal ever materialized in WWF, I would have put Kane in it. No brainer.
And also, Mortis should have joined the Flock back in WCW. He was a totally natural fit and by the time he did join after feuding with Raven he just stuck out like John Laurinitus at a rap concert.

They hinted that one of the Armstrongs (can't remember which one) was gonna join but then Raven just turned on him, he got beat down, and was never seen again. He would've fit in really well with the whole "Armstrong Curse" gig they were doing with him.

Raven was taunting him about the whole curse before a match and Brad hesitated before he attacked Raven. I miss early WCW Raven when he was just a ruthless, manipulative heel who preyed on people's weaknesses. His character always did have a note of sympathy for the fragile, no matter how heelish he was. Layered characters like that are so rare today. |

I liked that Raven's WCW flock included random guys like Scotty Riggs and Van Hammer. It made the group seem more like a gang of misfit freaks.

The Flock was an awesome stable. A group of freaks, misfits and losers rejected by the WCW brass coming together. I would have loved to see them feud with the nWo.

I enjoyed Raven's group in WCW. But loved his group in ECW. I need to see if anyone has made a comp dvd of Raven's time in ECW.

Flock in WWE would have included Raven, Kane, Saturn, Terri and maybe some of the WCW guys they got during the invasion, like Mike Awesome and Sean Ohaire

I'm not getting the Kane argument.
Kane was always better as a loner. Him with tag team partners was almost always when he sucked the most. (See X-Pac, RVD, Big Show, etc.)

(See X-Pac, RVD, Big Show, etc.) I remember a rumor that they were building to Kane being able to talk as a way for Raven to debut. It'd been cool to see raven use Kane's anger and self-loathing to push him around and make him a bodyguard. As with all enforces, Kane stands up for himself. Boom, instant feud. But yeah, crappy booking has held back Kane in tag teams, though personally I actually liked him and X-Pac. Maybe he does work best as a loner. |

Every one I have seen is from RF video. And I refuse to ever buy anything from that piece of shit. I am sure you know about his past and the "perverted justice" sting. of course. He was on a few of my shows when he was the "Fun Athletic Guy" manager of the Christoher Street Connection  and yes they are RF versions (Keep in mind he was ECW's video guy) but you can get copies from other vendors without giving money to Rob. |
