It's like a giant Round Robin Tournament. You don't get points for losing except to a DQ which you lose 10 points. Rest you get points depend how you win. Normal pin is 7, Submission is 10, Time Limit or other is 3 I think. In matches with more than 1 BFG participant (like a 4-way match) whomever gets the pin or the win in the match gets the points. When it comes to No Surrender (Correct me I think I got it wrong) then top 4 BFG Participants wrestle in the finals & the highest point getter after that gets a TNA World Title shot for BFG. That's about it, although I was never clear if last year's No Surrender matches were supposed to be a tournament type thing or if they were just the last matches where points could be had and that, as a result, Bully/Roode was a tiebreaker. It was only supposed to be two singles matches and whomever had the most points won.

I'm predicting the Final 4 to be James Storm, Jeff Hardy, Bully Ray & Samoa Joe.
Storm beats Bully Ray Hardy beats Joe
Storm beats Hardy to make it a win

Updated the standings and included a list where if everyone does indeed wrestle everyone once, then those are the matches still to come

Please stop this and just do a tournament. Why do they have to make this so complicated.

A few random comments I hope Samoa Joe doesn't go the entire thing without winning a match and ending up in the negatives again. I feel with him bringing out the lame disco shorts it's going to happen Also, could Gunner fall any further off the radar. A guy that was in the final 4 last year and seemed to be on his way to being a top star with Flair and Bischoff by his side. Now he's not even in the tournament and The Pope is in there despite not being seen since Against All Odds

TONIGHT! (well last night) they had 2 BFG Series Matches on the live event...
James Storm pinned Robbie E
Samoa Joe pinned Mr. Anderson
James Storm now has a commanding lead with 34 points and Joe is on the board!

Samoa Joe pinned Mr. Anderson I thought for sure that Anderson would be winning that one. Hopefully, they cool James Storm off a bit. He's just blowing everyone out of the water right now. Fans appreciate a good meaningful struggle

I am not sure about last night. There were supposed to be 2 matches, but in the report I read, they only have listed James Storm beating Gunner in a BFG series match, despite Gunner not being in the tournament

Did Jeff Hardy pin Chris Daniels at some point?
Or did Samoa Joe beat Bully Ray by DQ over the weekend?

I almost gave up on the detailed stuff because I couldn't find non-Impact results anywhere and TNA had taken it down for about a week, but they finally put it back up and here we are.

I wonder why they do not give a detailed account of the BFG series on Impact like they did last year? It feels pretty hollow to see Samoa Joe in advance if you didn't see him win those matchs.
